Changelog for SellerEngine Plus
SellerEngine Plus 2.1.13 - September 29, 2009
New Features:
- Multi-edit "Charge When Ship" information for orders
- Harvested data while repricing is compressed before saving it into database - this will reduce the db size by 40-50%
Fixes:
- Crashing while repricing has been fixed
- Retrieve my Info button is working again
- Fixed an old internal problem which was leaving some items in the "checking" status after a reprice
- Fixed the DB upgrade procedure which was producing random errors and some strange behaviors and the db was fully upgraded only after SE was started for 2-3 times.
- Fixed an error which was causing SE to crash if "Edit Descriptions" button was pressed too often.
- Fixed an error at replacing an item by lookup window
- Fixed database upgrade in fba plugin

SellerEngine Plus 2.1.6 - August 25, 2009
New Features:
- We added a "today" button for setting the ship date
- We eliminated the time from the Ship Date since that is not required by Amazon when confirming an order
Fixes:
- Port 443 connection error fixed
- Fixed the "total" on the pack slips
- Lookup on Amazon is now working properly
- Order cancelations are now working
- Total inventory value is now refreshing after a price check
- Export order with no status is no longer empty
- replaced IDs with texts at File > Preferences > Item Conditions
- last order marked as "shipped" is now saved when closing the aplication
- reseting the upload status for an order is no longer moving the mouse focus on the next line
- older shipped orders (prior to upgrading SE) are no longer sent to Amazon for confirmation
- no more software crashes (access violation errors)
- exporting orders to file for users with more than 64 defined statuses is now working
Known Issues:
- To cancel one item in a multi-item order, first confirm shipment of the items you are shipping. The buyer will be charged for the entire order, including the item you cannot ship. Next, refund the item you cannot ship. When you initiate the refund, include a memo in the message field, explaining that the refund is for an item you cannot ship, and be sure to note which item it is. DO NOT SENT a cancellation upload from SE unless you want to cancel the entire order!
SellerEngine Plus 2.1.3 - August 14, 2009
New Features:
- Implemented "Charge when ship"
- Implemented "ListingLoader" (for non media Amazon merchants)
- Signed AWS requests - the users have to sign up for a free aws account if they don't have already one
- Improved error handling on reprice
- Improved speed of reprice
- Added in preferences->Label Printing: Paper Orientation (Portrait/Landscape)
Fixes:
- Fixed non media sellers feeds. It requires Merchant Token.
- Fixed "Listed on Amazon" value after a reprice
- Fixed a bug: when closing the preferences window not all printer related settings was applied.
- Fixed a bug in shipment's items grid: if you change the price, it was saved as integer instead of float.
- Fixed a bug: Scheduled orders retrieval not decreasing quantities in inventory
- Fixed a bug in the print pack slips feature (orders): if an item had the price 12.40 only 12.4 was shown on the label
- Fixed a bug at import: In some situations ItemName or ItemDescription fields from the text file can contain tabs inside the text and this is breaking the cvs columns. Now it checks if there are a greater number of columns than the header and in this situation is adding the extra columns in one of these fields. If it can't decide in which field to add these extra columns then is reporting the line as error and is not importing it.
- Fixed a bug in "Import duplicate wizard" window: sometime the columns names had a wrong value like "Expr02".
- Persistent columns order in lookup grid
Known Issues:
- Order cancellation feeds are not working yet. You can only do shipments confirmations from SE.

1.10.8.3, UK and DE - August 26, 2008
New Features
- Purge and Replace is available again.
Fixes:
- Prices from Amazon are now able to be retrieved.
Known Issues:
- Setting the export and delete flags and then using the Purge and Replace option creates errors at Amazon. It will purge all listings but SellerEngine Plus does not notify you that there are errors.
- When using the 'Remove listings marked for delete' upload function make sure the items are not marked for export and also for deletion when you select the option for 'all items marked for export' as this might result in suspended feeds at Amazon.
1.10.8.3, US only - August 22, 2008
New Features
- Purge and Replace is available again.
Fixes:
- Prices from Amazon are now able to be retrieved.
Known Issues:
- Setting the export and delete flags and then using the Purge and Replace option creates errors at Amazon. It will purge all listings but SellerEngine Plus does not notify you that there are errors.
- When using the 'Remove listings marked for delete' upload function make sure the items are not marked for export and also for deletion when you select the option for 'all items marked for export' as this might result in suspended feeds at Amazon.
1.10.8, US only - July 18, 2008
New Features
- FBA functionality has made a comeback, and is now available to Beta users!
- FBA users can now set shipment status to 'working' from SE+ in order to take advantage of special shipping rates available only through the SellerCentral website.
Fixes:
- Sorter and Custom Condition now display correctly in the edit dialog.
- Sorter and Shipment can now be saved as part of the template used to add items.
- AFN and Active Listings reports now download and import correctly, regardless of the order in which Amazon sends them.
- Canceling an FBA shipment now removes it from the shipping queue.
- Quantities for split FBA shipments now display properly.
- Several FBA shipments synchronization issues now resolved.
- FBA module now is more in synch with Amazon's display of information.
- Several FNSKU retrieval problems fixed.
- Several sku related errors were fixed.
- Speed improved when synching FBA shipments.
- Sending NULL values was causing feeds to fail. When Amazon sends us NULL values, we no longer send them back as NULL.
- Amazon errors returned are now easier for the user to understand.
- When a shipment is deleted, items now return to inventory list with correct quantities.
Known Issues:
- If you scan items in very quick succession, sometimes a label will fail to print.
- On Amazon, the same merchant SKU may be present as MFN and AFN. However, the item is present as an active listing only on one channel (MFN or AFN). In SE+, a merchant SKU denotes an item present only as MFN or AFN. As a result, when downloading items from Amazon, the duplicates wizard may trigger. If this happens, you should do the following:
- Select one field at a time from left panel of the window. The
right side populates with inventory items that have different values which
must be merged prior to import.
- Select all items (on the right)
- Click on "Update [field name]"
- You may safely skip the following fields: ItemId, ItemTypeId, BrowsePath,ImageURL, FNSKU, AFNCondition
- You should update all items for the following fields: ItemName, Price,
Quantity, OpenDate, ConditionId, ItemNote, ListingID, IsOnline, IsExpedited,
InShip, MyPrice, CategoryId, ListedState, QuantityAmazon
- If you reorder your list of orders and then print, the print out still has the orders listed in the order they were received.
- The 30 per page print labels setting does not work correctly. Labels need to be printed one per page at this time.
- FBA Amazon fulfilled orders are not imported into SellerEngine Plus.
- FBA sellers can set expedited and international shipping flags even if they are not able to ship expedited or internationally. Do not use these options with Amazon Fulfilled listings.
- FBA sellers can see all items from synched shipments in the inventory grid, regardless of quantity available.
- Amazon returns confusing errors if you try to send an FBA shipment without your return address specified in preferences. If you receive an error while sending shipment, check to be sure your preferences have the correct information.
1.9.25 - July 7, 2008
Fixes:
- Checkboxes are set correctly (used to randomly be set incorrectly).
- People using old printer drivers can now print titles on pick lists.
- Order report now chooses the number of days based on last request date. It chooses the values 3,7,15,30, or 60 as the possible numbers of days, as supported by Amazon. Does not allow 'one day' because payment validations from Amazon could take up to 72 hours.
- Inventory upload files are generated after order download quantities are synched.
- If orders download is canceled or encounters errors, user can still chose to go on with an inventory upload.
- Exporting orders with "," as decimal separators no longer results in a crash.
- Purge and Replace upload method reinstated for Marketplace users.
- Quick Find has been brought back to life. (For faster performance, reduce the number of columns showing in the grid.)
- Custom Import and Export templates are being saved and loaded correctly.
- When new items are entered, they are added to the inventory at the end of the list.

- FBA Amazon Support.
- Sorter is now available, allowing you to decide what books to keep and list, and which aren't worth trying to sell, as you enter them!

- Entering price data in the inventory grid sometimes leads to numbers being input backwards, or incorrectly.
- There is no option to set the limit to lowest price regardless of condition in the reprice wizard.
- When attempting to save an export file, if the path contains “.” or comma characters SellerEnginePlus will give an error.
- The‘Edit’ window is not sticky and also not resizable.

-
With some items, the Edit custom button in the price check tab below overlaps the "Custom" button. This happens in the quick item add and especially when windows are resized.
- International Shipping Flag is returned by Amazon as a simple yes or no value, so Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de users who download their listings fresh from Amazon will not have the proper values retrieved. We have an open ticket with Amazon to resolve this issue. International Shipping Flags set in SellerEngine Plus UK and DE and uploaded to Amazon will list correctly. Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de users who set their International Shipping Flags in SellerEngine Plus UK or DE and then download an open listings report will keep the correct International Shipping Flags. This is only an issue when the inventory is first downloaded from Amazon.
- The Import Duplicates Dialog does not appear when importing listings from a file. Instead, the duplicated items will be imported with no SKU assigned. If the newly imported versions of these listings should replace the old offering, you will need to update the old offering to match or remove the old listing from Amazon and assign the new ones new SKUs. Amazon will not allow you to upload an item with no SKU.
- The Reprice Rules Filter 'Exclude Sellers from specific location' is not yet relevant. Your items will be compared against sellers from the localization of SellerEngine Plus which you are using.
- The Reprice Rules Filter 'Exclude items in specific category' should say 'Exclude items in a specified condition'.
- The drop-down menu allowing you to configure the rules in the case that there is no competitive information for the item allows you to choose competitive information for the basis of the price.
- When configuring your reprice rule exceptions, the dialog should say 'Condition' rather than 'Category'.
- Deselecting the option 'Switch Condition Tab to Match Your Item Condition' does not result in changing the tab back to 'All'.
- The names of fields listed in the Search Inventory dialog do not match the column names available in the following cases:
- Product Name - Searches Title
- Exported - Searches Export to Amazon
- Previous Price - Searches Last Price
Some fields are not available for searching.
- When you search with the option 'Load query and edit', the radio button for 'AND or 'OR' will be deselected. You need to reselect it before running the query.
- When you search with the option 'Load query and edit, the changes you make to the query will not be saved by default. If you want to save the changes to your query, you must do so explicitly.
