How to Create a Reprice Schema

Reprice schemas allow you to price your items automatically. When you run a price check in SellerEngine Plus, the software connects to Amazon and retrieves information about other listings and sellers of your item. Based on the reprice schema you have created and applied to the item, SellerEngine Plus assigns a price for your item.

Using the Reprice Rules Wizard:

  1. From the Inventory menu, choose 'Automatic Reprice Options'. The 'Reprice Rules Wizard' appears.

  1. Click 'Next'. Your list of schemas appears. Either highlight an existing reprice schema in the list, or select the radio button for 'Create a new rules file' and click 'Next'.

  1. The Filters screen appears.

  1. Filters allow you to determine which other sellers' information your listings will be compared with for pricing purposes. To add a filter click 'Add', choose one of the filters from the list, and click 'OK'.

Available Filter Description

Only keep items that are in a specified condition Shows a drop-down menu with the conditions from which you can choose. You can configure the order in which the conditions are ranked in your preferences.
Keep the first lowest x priced items Shows a drop-down menu from which you can choose a number of sellers. Of all the listings on Amazon for your item, SellerEngine Plus will only compare your price to the number of listings you choose, starting with the lowest available price.
Keep the highest x priced items Shows a drop-down menu from which you can choose a number of sellers. Of all the listings on Amazon for your item, SellerEngine Plus will only compare your price to the number of listings you choose, starting with the highest available price.

  • My Item Minimum Price - your minimum price for the item. (Specify it when adding or editing an item.)
  • Flat Amount - A price you specify in this dialog.

Check the box for 'Only apply filter to the first x sellers that match the condition' if you want to limit the number of sellers excluded based on this rule. For example, you may want to exclude items with a price equal to the flat amount $.01, but not exclude more than 10 sellers based on this rule.

  • Limit type
Limit type Description
Lower Limit Sets a minimum for the price SellerEngine Plus will assign to your item. If the price determined by your repricing rules falls below this number, SellerEngine Plus will use the Lower Limit you set instead. If no other sellers are offering your item and the price you have already assigned to the item is below the lower limit, then the price will be raised to the lower limit. If your price is above the lower limit and there are no other sellers for your item, the price will remain the same.
Upper Limit Sets a maximum for the price SellerEngine Plus will assign to your item. If the price determined by your repricing rules is higher than this number, SellerEngine Plus will use the Upper Limit you set instead. If no other sellers are offering your item and the price you have already assigned to the item is above the lower limit, then the price will be lowered to the upper limit. If your price is below the upper limit and there are no other sellers for your item, the price will remain the same.
